The weather didn't cooperate very well with last weekend's Nov. 1st Socially Distanced Walk With Friends at Penetanguishene Rotary-Champlain-Wendat Park, but a few hardy (or is that foolhardy?) naturalists did go for a somewhat abbreviated walk.  It was great weather for ducks and we saw hundreds.

We decided that this walk deserves a do-over so we're taking a mulligan.  We'll return to Penetang's beautiful waterfront park for our next walk on Sunday Nov. 8, 2020 10 AM.  That way all you sensible MPFN members who stayed in bed and enjoyed your extra hour of sleep won't have to miss out on this great location.

Outing details are pretty well the same as last weekend, but here they are again:

We will meet at the Penetanguishene Curling Club parking lot at 10 AM and walk through Rotary Champlain Wendat Park through the old campground and onto the Copeland Creek trail.  Waterproof footwear and even rubber boots are highly recommended.  We will aim for an approximately 2 hour walk.  Ducks and other waterfowl are already beginning to stage on Penetang Bay in large numbers.
